FAQ’S
What is a Try It day?
Try it days allow for a Skier or Snowboarder to join our club for a SINGLE day of participation with a limited participation membership with our sanctioning bodies.
Can I join for a Try Freeride Day At any time?
Try Freeride Days (aka Try Freestyle Days) are limited to when we schedule them into our calendar. As we need to account for appropriate coaching numbers and the applicable insurance to run these types of events.
Does a Parent need to participate?
Nope! our minimum ability requirements deem that your child should already be skiing or snowboarding independently.
PLEASE READ OUR MINIMUM ABILITY REQUIREMENTS BELOWWe have a dedicated meeting location on Try-It Days that allows for parents to “drop off”. We do ask that you remain close and available by phone in case of any emergencies.
Why do I need the Membership?
Our club is sanctioned under both Freestyle AB/Can and AB/Can Snowboard. A membership with our governing bodies is required for insurance purposes. Try It Days offer a 1 day limited membership to participate in our programming without the full season membership cost.
